Krifa and its affiliated companies faced a significant challenge; they were working with an aging Navision ERP system, which had served them well for many years. But the time had come to make a crucial decision.

"We come from Navision, which has been a faithful companion in our work. But our IT auditor was not satisfied with the lack of updates and patches. It became clear that we either needed to upgrade or find an entirely new solution," explains Jan Mikkelsen, an accounting consultant at Krifa.

Krifa faced a crucial decision: should they continue with a newer version of the familiar Navision system, or should they take a bold step toward a more modern cloud-based ERP solution?

Anders Saxild Pedersen, accounting and special consultant at Krifa, elaborates: "We didn't face challenges from the finance department, but technically, there were issues. Our IT department was also concerned. Security aspects and the lack of updates were the primary challenges."

Based on Fellowmind's advice and recommendations, Krifa decided to take the full step and chose Business Central, a modern cloud-based ERP solution from Microsoft.

Challenged Expectations

Once this crucial decision was made, the actual implementation project was initiated and has gone exactly as expected. And yet, Jan and Anders, along with the rest of the project team at Krifa, did not quite get to relax as much as initially expected.

We are not IT people, we are accountants, so it was important for us that Fellowmind took responsibility for setting everything up so we could more or less just sit back and wait for everything to be up and running.

At Fellowmind, we are happy to take full responsibility, but we also like to challenge our customers' assumptions and expectations in order to deliver the best possible solution. Therefore, Krifa became more involved in the project than they had initially anticipated.

We have been very satisfied throughout the project, and we have received what we expected and a little more. At first, we handed over the responsibility to Fellowmind, but Fellowmind's consultants were good at challenging us and helping us excel, so we naturally ended up playing a bigger role in the project than we initially expected.

All in all, Jan and Anders from Krifa have had a very positive experience working with Fellowmind. They describe it as a smooth and seamless transition from the old Navision system to Business Central.
